The location
The Milestone is in a central location in Cornwall with easy access by car to lots of incredible beaches and all that our gorgeous county has to offer. On foot within 10 mins you can be out into the countryside with lots of beautiful walks. There are local buses and Truro has a train station. There is a children’s play park at the end of the road and also in the village , among other things , a couple of local shops, a doctors, pharmacy, post office, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, butchers, bakery and an excellent pub restaurant. Cara has put so much thought into Threemilestone. The decor, the scones, beach towels laid out and a fully stocked kitchen means everything is taken care of. We stayed for a wedding at Nancarrow farm but it would be a perfect base for a family holiday. Easy parking and good public transport links meant we could get to Truro, St Ives and St Agnes on the bus without stressing about parking. The house was spotless and I wouldn’t hesitate recommending staying.
